About me
Emma is a practising psychotherapist who seeks to work with individuals and organisations in discovering what barriers might be present to having emotional needs met. In all her work she seeks to create community and foster a culture of emotional safety. She is particularly interested in areas where there are systemic barriers to emotional wellness such as financial hardship, violence against women and girls and lack of access to appropriate housing.
A parent to 3 children, a local school governor as well as the work mentioned above means that Emma is a keen advocate for promoting the gendered impact of violence against women and girls as well as the dangerous impact of the rise in misogyny for all genders. She remains hopeful that empowered communities can generate change.
